The Loudoun Knights are pleased to announce that Craig Desjarlais will coach the 2020 Loudoun Knights 10U team. This is an exciting year for the 10U squad, as it is one of two Loudoun Knights teams entering the Chesapeake Bay Hockey League (“CBHL”). And adding a coach of Craig’s experience and dedication means that those players will play a competitive schedule, and enjoy an awesome development season.
Craig is also joining the Knights as the new Director of Development. In that role, Craig will assist the Knights' Hockey Director with player development planning and execution, skills training, and player retention.
Craig brings a wealth of hockey playing and coaching experience to the Loudoun Knights. Born and raised in Canada, Craig played junior hockey in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League before playing Division-I college hockey as a four-year letter winner at Bowling Green State University. Craig left Bowling Green with a degree in Business Communications. He then pursued a 5-year professional career with the New Orleans Brass (ECHL), Toledo Storm (ECHL), and Knoxville Icebears (SPHL). Craig was named to Knoxville’s All-Time Franchise Team in 2012.
