The Summer Thursday Knights Training Sessions are designed exclusively for rostered Loudoun Knights players, offering eight weeks of high-intensity skills development led by our experienced coaching staff. Sessions will take place every Thursday from June 19 through August 7, 2025.

Each group will participate in a focused, one-hour on-ice session each week, with instruction tailored to player development goals at each level. Led by Loudoun Knight's Coaches Craig Desjarlais,Grady Little and Derric Trudeau, these sessions provide a consistent summer training opportunity to prepare for the upcoming season.

23 Hockey is the Premier destination in the DMV for Hockey Skating Development. Our staff has over 40 years’ combined experience in amateur and professional hockey training. We believe that the foundation of any successful hockey player is skating.
In our program you will learn and execute the components to properly develop your skating stride. Incorporated is an individual puck skill program directly related to hockey skating patterns and development.
 
On-Ice components include:

• -Stride length & recovery

• Edgework and multi-directional skating patterns

• Overspeed skating for starts and crossovers

• Resistance Training designed to improve posture and power

• Transitional Skating

• Individual Puck Handling

• Shooting in Stride

This camp is designed to introduce young players to the sport of hockey through a fun, inclusive, and developmentally appropriate week of on-ice and off-ice activities. Led by Coach Grady Little and supported by teen player mentors, the curriculum emphasizes fundamental hockey skills, teamwork, creativity, and a love for the game.

It's cooler than the pool here at the ice rink!

Our camp is the perfect place to escape the summer heat while having a blast. Enjoy games, puzzles, sports, and more with friends!

Children split into groups based on age: 6 - 9 and 10 - 14.
