LEARN TO SKATE 
NEW SESSION STARTS NOVEMBER 1, 2025

Build confidence, balance, and skating skills the safe, fun, Learn to Skate USA way! This nationally recognized curriculum (powered by U.S. Figure Skating) meets skaters where they are and moves them forward.

Who's It For?

  • Snowplow Sam (Ages 3–5): First steps on the ice, games & glides

  • Basic Skills 1–6 (Ages 6–12): Fundamentals through strong edges & turns

  • Pre–Free Skate & Free Skate 1–6: Jumps, spins, and advanced skills

  • Hockey 1–4 (All Ages): Skating skills for hockey performance (no sticks/pucks in class)

  • Teen/Adult 1–6 (Ages 13+): Beginner through advanced in a welcoming group

Session Details

  • Start Date: Sunday, October 26, 2025

  • Length: 6-week program • Weekly 30–45 minute classes (group format)

  • Location: ION: The Rinks at Compass Creek

  • Coaches: Learn to Skate USA–registered, background-checked, SafeSport compliant

  • Class Sizes: Small coach–to–skater ratios for personalized instruction

  • Evaluation & Badges: Progress is tracked; skaters earn curriculum badges as they advance

Buddy Skate  - November 1

Kickoff Buddy Skate (Nov 1, 12:30–2:00 PM)
Bring a friend to share the ice and the fun. It’s a great way for new skaters to try it out and for returning skaters to show off their progress.
